What is the multimedia production project?
In accordance with the provisions from the recent budget, funding is available to Ohio’s licensed Educational Television Stations for the development, acquisition, and distribution of resources for educational use in the classroom and online. In collaboration with Ohio’s licensed Educational Television Stations and the Ohio Department of Education, BEMC aims to provide resources for educational use in the classroom and online that can be used by educators and students across the State of Ohio to inform, motivate and assist students.
Multimedia Series: Career Connections
Career Connections is a joint initiative among the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, the Ohio Department of Higher Education, and the Ohio Department of Education. Senate Bill 316 requires career connections learning strategies be embedded in the Department of Education’s model curricula. The goal is to give K-12 students opportunities:
- to become more aware of career opportunities;
- learn of their interests, talents and abilities; explore careers; and
- make academic and career plans for their future.
