Multimedia Production Project

In accordance with the provisions from the recent budget, funding is available to Ohio’s licensed Educational Television Stations for the development, acquisition, and distribution of resources for educational use in the classroom and online.  The goal of this project is to provide resources that can be used by educators and students, not only in the 200 poorest districts, but across the state to inform, motivate and assist students as well as others who may be seeking new careers or career changes, as they explore, consider and plan their pathway for education and careers.

Ohio Public Television Stations Spotlight Ohio People and Jobs for Department of Education Initiative: Career Connections

Career Connections is a joint initiative among the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation, the Ohio Department of Higher Education, and the Ohio Department of Education. Senate Bill 316 requires career connections learning strategies be embedded in the Department’s model curricula. The goal is to give K-12 students opportunities to become more aware of career opportunities; learn of their interests, talents and abilities; explore careers; and make academic and career plans for their future.
